Juliet turns 1!!!!

Juliet Celeste turned 1 on January 28! She is so cute and so fun! She loves to make us laugh.

Here is she is at 1 year! SO CUTE!!!
This is one of my favorites of her. She is so cute!
Jewel on her blessing day

Pretty blue eyes and an infectious smile
She just looks so cute here!
Here she is at her party at Grandma and Papa Wright's house. I of course couldn't find the camera until the day after I needed it. :) So we have to settle for my camera phone pictures. Here she is opening presents.
Her cake

She loved the frosting and loved eating the cake!

We had a party at our house too the next day for her and here she is eating a cupcake with chocolate frosting.

Juliet is such a joy! She loves to play with her sisters. She enjoys listening when Daddy or Mommy play the piano and as soon as she hears it playing she crawls right into the room to listen. She just recently began dancing and loves the laughs and attention she gets. Juliet loves electronics and many times a day we will find her sneaking away with one of the girls Nintendo DS', a cell phone, or anything that she can get her hands on that she shouldn't. She is a picky eater and one thing she hates is bread. If I put bread in her mouth she will spit it right back out. She is busy and loves to get into the cupboards and drawers in the kitchen. She loves to take things off the shelf and is inquisitive with all she does. Jewels loves to listen to animal sounds and her favorite book is one called "Moo, Moo, Baa, Baa, La, La, La" she laughs every time I read it to her. She tries walking and will walk a few steps when she feels like it but isn't too interested right now in mastering it. Which I'm ok with. Once they walk they are a lot faster! She is getting so big and we love to hear her laugh and see her smile! Love you Jewel-Bug!

The Temple...I'm Going there Today!

I had the most wonderful, amazing opportunity to be the escort for one of my friends, Dawn, as she made the decision to go through the temple to receive her endowment. I was honored to be her escort on her special day. It was a lovely evening in December and we had a wonderful time. It was fun to go and be there to help her as she went through the temple.

Before we went up to the endowment I had the opportunity to sit in the brides room as I waited for Dawn to get ready. As I sat in there in awe at the beauty and splendor I was filled with peace. I took a moment and looked in the eternity mirrors. I looked behind me and I thought of those who had come before me. Who had strong testimonies and joined the church so that I was able to be in the temple at this time. I then looked ahead and thought of the generations that are to come and my little girls who are already here. Thinking about how all my decisions I'm making are affecting generations both ways. And how all I wanted was to keep all the links connected that we may all live forever together. How blessed we are to be members of the true church and to have the knowledge we have. It made me so excited for the days to come when I will be able to be with my daughters as they choose to go through the temple.

It was a beautiful evening and I'm so grateful for the opportunity I had to be able to be part of Dawn's special day.

"Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. Do You Know How Loved You Are?"

We had New Beginnings back in January for Young Womens. The theme for the night was "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. Do you know how loved you are? " We went with gold, black, and white theme colors. The night was about the Young Womens program and how it works. One of my counselors found something that explained each of the YW values with a constellation. It was pretty cool. Many of our YW participated it was a lovely evening.
