Anniversary...9 Wonderful Years!!!

Mike and I celebrated 9 years of marriage on August 1, 2012!  This year we were unable to spend our actual anniversary together because I was off at girls camp.  But I was able to surprise Mike with a night away and he had no idea!  It was awesome!  On July 27th I dropped the kids off with Mike's dad and I met Mike at work.  He had no idea that I had planned this which has never happened in our marriage.  When one of us is trying to surprise the other we always find out.  I was so happy he had no idea and he was exited for a night out together.  We got to our hotel and it was awesome here are some pictures.

My sister got married during girls camp so I was able to come home on our anniversary since it was the night before the wedding.  I came home late that evening and this is what I came home to!  Mike had decorated the room so nicely and gotten me 9 red roses for 9 years of love and 1 yellow rose to signify our eternal friendship.  I also got Dove Chocolate (my favorite) and a lovely card with a gift card to Red Robin (another favorite).  He is so sweet!  I'm so blessed to be married to such an amazing man!

What a wonderful time it has been!  Little did I know when we took this what a wonderful life I would have with him!  Look how young we were!  

9 years ago on August 1, 2003 I married my best friend!  And what a wonderful 9 years it has been.  Mike is an amazing man!  He is a wonderful husband, father, provider, priesthood holder, friend, brother, neighbor, teacher, worker, and so much more.  He makes me laugh and smile.  He cares so much for me and treats me with honor and respect.  I'm so blessed to have him in my life.

What a blessing our family is!  What great joy it brings to our life!  How blessed we are to have each other.  If Father in Heaven asked me to design my husband I couldn't have done this well!  He is amazing and I love him so!  I love our Happily Forever After!

Best gift ever...Mike got me a new diamond for my ring!  I love it!  It is so beautiful and I love that he was able to get me a new diamond like he wanted to but I still got to keep the ring that is so special to me.  Love you forever and ever Mike!

So Loved and So Grateful!

Back in July and August things were so crazy.  I was so busy and felt so overwhelmed.  There was so much to do and I just felt like there was no way I could get it all done.  I was blessed with some great friends that dropped things by to remind me that I was loved not only by them but I knew that the Savior was thinking of me and loved me too.  

One day a friend stopped by and dropped off some flowers and a new bath mat for my bathroom.  She sat and talked with me for a few minutes and it was so nice to just talk and feel loved.  

One morning I woke up and found this on my front door.  Someone stopped by and heart attacked my house.  I felt so loved and it was so lovely to have this reminder I was loved all over my door and walk way. There were so many wonderful things written on the hearts.  It was so nice!  

I also had notes from people, cookies dropped off, and many other kindness' given to me.  

I'm so grateful for the tender mercies of the Lord that are ever present in our lives!  Even when life is crazy and He can't change that he blesses us and takes care of us.  

We are so loved!  

McKenna's Bridal Shower

On July 14th we had my baby sister McKenna's bridal shower here at my house.  My rockin' awesome sister (inlaw) Sarah and I threw the shower and it was a success.  It turned out super cute and of course once the party started I didn't get any pictures.  But just had to share the cute decorations and yummy food!

We were trying to see if this would work as the centerpiece for the reception.  Turned out super cute!  We loved it!  The shower was lots of fun!  Kenna had a great time and we had a great turn out!  Yay!!!!

Weekend at the Lake

We had a wonderful time at the lake and up in Morgan on July 5th, 6th, and 7th with the Wright family.  Here are some pictures of the fun time we had.

It started pouring right as we were loading up the car to leave.  We had to wait for the rain to stop before we could finish.  After there was a beautiful rainbow...totally worth the wait!  

The next day we got to the lake early and got the waverunners out on the water.  Here is Mike and Madi getting ready to head out on the lake.

Juliet finally got off the chair and decided it was ok to sit on the floaty.  She still wouldn't get in the sand though.  Her and Miss L.B. love each other!  They are so cute when they play together!

So much fun!

It was such a fun weekend!  The waverunners were awesome!  It was so fun to go fast and turn and fly all over the water!  I felt so free while riding them.  It was great!  Sometimes I'd just scream, "Wahoooooooooo!" while riding I'm sure others on the water thought I was crazy but I didn't care it was just too fun!!!  :)  The kids had a blast swimming and riding too!  The best was being able to spend time with everyone!  We had such a great time and celebrated all 7 July birthdays!  Most of us got sunburned but we had so much fun!  What a great weekend!  I hope we can do it again next year!
